There's a fun clock in the town square with dancing figures and lots of music. It's really famous and I've forgotten the name and even if I'd remembered it, I couldn't spell it. So you can see a washed-out knight on his way to find his lady in the clock, while very jolly men prance down below. And the king looks on at all. Pretty awesome.
Augh, these pictures loaded in no particular order. So, here's a snippet of the Munich cathedral that was bombed out during the war. The back area behind the altar remained intact.
Like all German edifices, it needed a good Grandfather clock - whahh?
Here's a view from the top of the Munich Cathedral Belltower. Sigh.
This reminded me of Italy. Loved it.
Flowers put to dang good use.
My parents have some of these figurines and I always loved them - good German fun.
So, apparently this setting on my camera isn't such a good idea. But this was a lovely red backdrop of ivy before the Exposure Beast washed it out.
Look at those STREETS! Clean! Uncrowded! People waiting for the light before they cross!
Musicians playing Mozart inside of the reconstructed Residenz chapel. :( It was beautiful before it was bombed.
Persueus slaying the Hydra . . .great water placement for that fountain.
Courtyard in the Residenz.
They were filming a German movie as we walked up - the entire Residenz was full of movie trailers and equipment. Ahhh cowboys . . . .?
